Modal Rib Knit

It’s beautiful I am going to try to use it for ribbing on cuffs and neckbands. I hope that I can as I brought quite a few in different colours. New senior sewer and wanted some clothes for the grandkids. Suggestions would be appreciated.

Love Modal Rib

Nothing can be softer and more "flowy" than this fabulous modal rib knit. I bought more and have been playing with it. While each person has their own preference as to how to control stretch when sewing seams on this, I tried a new way for myself this time on a t-shirt hem by using Clover clear double-sided sticky basting tape (washes out later) (and then continued on with my Mu-Vit foot and a zig zag and stretch twin needles). The tape is amazing and helped immensely to stabilize the fabric when sewing perpendicular to the ribs. Love the look of this hem. Did not use the tape on the short sleeve hems and may try the tape next time on them too. Happy sewing!
