Winter Art Call 2024

Are you a pattern designer with artwork ready to be showcased? We're in search of talented designers who would love to see their creative vision on fabric!

We will be choosing 10-15 different artwork to be printed on our beautiful fabric!

This call is open worldwide to all designers of all levels. 



We are looking for a variety of styles and designs in all kinds of mediums and colour palettes.

May 30 - June 15

Commission Payout to Artists
Mid-Late September 
Fabric is printed then shipped to customers.

How to Apply:

  1. Fill up this form here. This is very important as we will judge from these submissions.
  2. Enter by posting your desired design on Instagram with a public profile. You may post up to 5 designs. 
  3. Your post must have a low-resolution repeating design plus mockups are highly recommended. (We are a fabric shop, so if possible we would love to see mockups in clothing/ fabric/ sewn items).
  4. Tag @prairieloveknits in all your posts and use the hashtag #winterartcall2024
Successful applicants will receive:
  1. 5% commission based on yardage of design sold in an upcoming printing cycle/ round.
  2. A CAD$50 eGift Card to Prairie Love Knits.

File requirements:

  1. If your artwork is chosen, we will require designs to be of a seamless repeat, at a minimum resolution of 300 dpi.
  2. File formats accepted: PNG, JPEG, TIFFs.


  1. This is a non-exclusive contract. Designers can use their designs elsewhere.
  2. Designers retain all rights to their designs. We do not claim any ownership.
