Heirloom Patchwork Quilt Workshop (Kids & Teens | 4 Weeks)

Create a beautiful quilt from start to finish in this 4-week sewing workshop designed for confident beginners.

Perfect for kids and teens ready to build their sewing skills and make something they’ll be proud of.

Students will complete a finished patchwork quilt approximately 36" x 45" in size.

WHAT THEY’LL MAKE

Over four guided sessions, students will complete a finished patchwork quilt using 5” squares.

• Finished size: approximately 36” x 45”
• A perfect cozy lap quilt for home

WHAT THEY’LL LEARN

Students will be guided step-by-step to:

• Pick and choose fabric based on colour palette and theory
• Cut and prepare fabric
• Piece patchwork squares using consistent seam allowance
• Assemble a full quilt top
• Quilt layers together using simple straight-line stitching
• Finish their quilt with binding

WHO THIS IS FOR

• Confident beginners
• Students should be comfortable using a sewing machine and sewing a straight seam independently

Class Size: Limited to 6 students for a supportive, hands-on experience

Students will choose their fabrics from a curated selection during the first class. Includes all supplies, fabric and guided instruction over all 4 sessions.

Light snack is also provided. Please inform of any allergies.

Sewing Machine Rental (+$25)

Available for students who need a machine during class.

• • This lesson is non-refundable upon purchase; but you may transfer this to another student.
  • We reserve the right to cancel a class and provide a refund or store credit up to 48 hours of the date; in the event we do not receive enough participants per class.
