Joy Box 2 Reveal- Mountain Theme - February 2021

Welcome to another reveal of our second joy box!

Thank you again for all your support and realizing my dreams in bringing you this box of full of joy and surprises!

Let's dive in- show me the fabric!! The fabric theme for this box, is one of my favourites... Mountains. I love anything with mountains, and was so happy to be inspired with the painting of the fabric in this box. The mega panel is a mountain landscape in a gorgeous green on our buttery bamboo french terry base; that matches the Evergreen or Black Bamboo French Terry beautifully.

Naomi also pitched in on this one and came up with this unique and cool panel design that we just love and had it printed as an adult size on our jersey base! To complete this look, we added some stripes, a plain heathered coordinating fabric and even a vinyl sticker for your sewing machines, or travel mugs.

Hand-painted mountains along with interchangeable neutral coordinates for all your creative makes!

I am now purposed in making myself a simple raglan top- I can't wait to see what each one makes!

And if mountain fabric isn't enough, we have included this masterpiece on wildflower seedpaper. The design and the texture of this paper, makes for a beautiful piece framed! It is not only a pretty picture- when you decide you'd like to grow some wildflowers instead, you can go ahead and plant this very card for a colourful sprout of flowers!

This gorgeous, shiny and sparkly copper coated enamel pin was designed by Sharon and printed locally. Maybe this is just a reminder that one day we will explore again? Yes, we can't wait to wear this proudly on our jean jackets or luggages when we can finally travel and go on adventures!

The Softer Side Concrete Design- I was so happy to discover this brilliant small business that repurposes concrete from their main business into pretty things like these gorgeous candle vessels! Not only do they smell goooood but these little pots can be reused as home decor, to hold jewelry, or a little air plant if you are plant lover like me. It is finished and sealed with food-safe sealer and can be pretty much used as a holder for little items. I love the imperfections in each one, they make it so uniquely perfect.

Vaka Chocolate  is based in London, Ontario and is a company of one. Serge makes chocolate {and a few other things} from ethically sourced cacao, from bean to bar. Serge designs all of the packaging, take all the photos, and his passion clearly shows in his work from the packaging right down to the last bite!

Then being in the middle of a cold winter, we decided we would need to source a soup vendor. We connected with Jennifer at Everything Nice Soups and she delivered a variety of soup mixes that we love! Ta-daa... we've made it easy to end up with a heartwarming pot of soup at the end of a busy day, maybe after a busy day of sewing? :)

We also loved Kick Ass Caramels so much from our first box that we decided to throw in some candies as a fun bonus!

Well, that is it for this box! Again I had so much fun sourcing for vendors with great products to support, and knowing these are real people standing behind their handiwork makes it even more special and worth it.

I hope this box brought you some joy! Don't miss out on the next one!!
